My Mum was in Highwood Court for nearly two and a half years. Sadly Mum was passed her best when she arrived into Highwood Courts care. She did not want to be there, but then she liked her room and enjoyed her meals and the staff where nice to her. My Mum was not an easy resident but I saw that she was always treated with respect and dignity by cheerful friendly staff. I was amazed that staff always knew who I was there for, many knew my name. At all times Mums room and bathroom were clean. Highwood Court was a great choice for us and Mum.

My aunt has been in residence at Highwood Court for I guess, nearly three years. At first she was not at all settled because she was in unfamliar environs, but with the care and guidance of staff, she seemed to settle in fairly quickly , and from my understanding she is participating in activities with the rest of the residents there. She tells me she likes her room, and that she is looked after very well - she likes the food, and she feels safe. at 89 years of age, and poor cognitive ability, could anyone ask for more ? I have ALWAYS found the staff to be personable, bright, cheery and helpful. I would recommend Highwood Court to anyone seeking an alternative home for an aged relative,, where care is the keyword..and I would venture to suggest it is probably the best care/accommodation facility in Melbourne... and certainly in the Eastern Suburbs.
