Well what has become of this place in recent times. My aunty has recently spent a short time in respite in Buderim Views. Her experience was second rate. It comenced with a non-existent orientation, put in a room where the t.v didn't work, had no phone and the shower was akin to a car wash. As she wasn't informed of any activities she soon began to feel isolated and was only offered a walk once. Care? What care! Medications were given at irregular times if at all, diabetes diet ignored, but the the biggest liability was when she was given a syringe of god knows what at a mass medication administration they thought was a good idea while everyone was together at afternoon tea. Entry for visitors is difficult and phoning in took up to a half a day to get through. English is a second language here and the service and care is sub-standard. Sadly Buderim Views has lost the plot.

I am a Carer for an older lady who has an existing medical condition. I was on the hunt for a place for her to stay so her husband could have a break - Respite care. I called around local facilities with no success. Then I called BUDERIM Views. From the very start , they were extremely helpful and worked with us to make it all happen. When we first went in , we immediately felt we were at the right place. During her stay , her care was of the highest standard and nothing was too much trouble . Thank you Simon , Angie , Angel and each and every staff member for everything . Highly recommended .
We would recommend Buderim Views to anyone who is seeking permanent care. Buderim Views has wonderful grounds with plenty of gardens and walking paths around the facility. The care staff are amazing and truly went above and beyond to make sure my father was looked after and made to feel like he was at home and apart of a community or better yet, apart of the family. Thank you Buderim Views we will be forever grateful.
My aunty was in their care - she had a major stroke which they failed to recognise. When her inability to communicate (we didn't know it was a stroke, not being medically trained) - their Registered Nurse gave her sips of drink (we now know the worst thing to do) and asked us if we wanted to send her to hospital. Their doctor - who did not come until that night advised to monitor her. The next day when we said we wanted to send her to hospital, the Registered Nurse on duty made us sit in a conference room while she looked through her notes having no idea of any issues (so much for monitoring her) - it was only hours later she was sent to hospital - which of course was all too late - she died a week later. A week after that, their admin phoned me asking for money for her 'ongoing care! I could never recommend this place.
The place is "GREAT" the care is amazing, the staff are awesome. The administration is ok👍. But they are just humans having other people's headaches on there shoulders. If there is any thing like 6stars I did rate them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐6 stars. God bless them.
