My Dad suffered a stroke three months ago a week after his birthday in April.People don't understand strokes as much as other conditions I've learned that much. When my dad was being released after the hospital Encompass was the best place that offered hours of rehabilitation, great doctor's that actually call you back,and nurses that love their job.The place is very clean and they handled my father wonderful, he's very stubborn and this stroke took from him his favorite things. His verbal for the most part, right arm and leg and appetite. The reason for my 3 star was they recommended a home caretaker agency that sent an abusive caretaker that did nothing but having my dad end up back in the hospital dehydrated, malnutrition and a UTI. The hospital told me encompass would take my dad back to get him back on track and that was a lie. Encompass is in for quick rehabilitation 2-3 weeks and that's it....if you hit a plateau forget it they want to cater to quick fixes.
Caregivers we're top notch, and showed a dedication to their clients needs. Company support was evident and administrative.followup was efficient.
