This memory care facility. used to be really nice. A lot of stuff has gone down hill. The residence never have activities. None of the staff ever interacts with them.Staff is always on their phones. Their twin beds are outdated and reused. There's water leaks in the roof. I just feel like it could be taken care of a lot better. The supervisors and the staff are always arguing in front of the residents forgeting That's this is the residence place of living, not theirs. Management also deletes negative reviews. The lighting in the parking lot is not safe for residence and workers. At night its to dark and most of the lights on the houses are out or broken. Many random people walk thrue there yelling and drunk.

I want to thank Jill and her staff at Blue Horizon for not only the excellent care, but especially the love they provided to my mother-in-law for almost a five year period. It is always challenging and difficult to move a family member into an assisted living facility. However, the staff made it a smooth transition. Additionally, they have always been responsive and worked well as a team with the third party care givers, including during those times when Mom became ill or something unexpected happened. The best compliment I can offer, is, almost every time we visited Mom, her interaction with Jill and her staff was filled with laughter, hugs, and love. Those memories and the smile on Mom's face will always warm my heart.
The staff and atmosphere at Blue Horizon is very friendly, warm and inviting!! Not only have they taken very good care of my father but they are kind with myself and family as well!! They interact with my Dad and have activities for him and they genuinely care about him as a person. I highly recommend Blue Horizon!
My brother has has been a patient at Blue Horizon for a year and a half. I am very pleased with the quality of care that he receives from the staff. It is my opinion that he has thrived there because he is not allowed to smoke, his oxygen levels are improved along with his appetite and weight gain. I feel very fortunate that I found such a nice place for him
We had mixed experiences at Blue Horizon, but the GOLD STARS were definitely Demi, Ruben, and Corina - even though greatly understaffed for the care needs of the residents, they were so caring and attentive to my mother, and were great communicators with the family. So appreciate them and all of their hard work!!
