There are both hands efficiency apartment, or a one bedroom apartment The rent is very reasonable, and there are rent subsidies available based on income. Everyone here, that I have met, has been very friendly and sociable. There are various activities within the building throughout the year. There is also a van to take residence shopping to either Meijer or Walmart. The building is located next door to the Bacon Memorial library. It is only a very short walk to the downtown, stores,shops and restaurants in downtown Wyandotte. I would recommend this senior apartment building to anyone, looking to downsize and simplify their life. There are both many activities and committees that a person can get involved with, if they choose to.

Bishop co-op is a great place to live. We are on the beautiful Detroit River and next to Bishop Park. Walk one block into town and there are businesses and dining. I've been here over 10 years and have never thought of moving. Besides that the members are very friendly.
Most people here do not respect the privacy of others - they feel entitled to pry and bark because they have nothing else to do with their remaining days. If they don't get their way they do everything to try and cause a scene, and call police . Its pathetic.
