I have known this beautiful house in which my aunt feels very comfortable for over a year. The food, the cultural events and especially the celebrations and celebrations are absolutely great and of a very high standard. This year the concerts and the Easter market were outstanding. But this year's shooting festival has put everything in the shade!!! Keep it up! Recommended in every respect!
My husband and I have been living in a one-room apartment in this house for almost 6 years, always happy and very satisfied. At the moment, however, we have to forego the festive pleasure of being intimidated by bright white table linen, but the lunch table remains as beautiful as it was because the food is good and the service is friendly. Reading from my historical novel "Verschaukelte Liebe", which tells, among other things, of the Magdalenium, the asylum for fallen girls (later Birkenhof), up to the invention of the cruise by the director of HAPAG, Albert Ballin, who organized a 2-month pleasure trip for the first time in 1891. "Pleasure trip to the Orient" was offered. Everything was perfectly prepared by Ms. Zimmermann. After the reading there were some questions and nice conversations. The casino is wonderfully suitable for such events - it could only have been a little less hot... I would be happy to come back to this friendly house in 2023.
Two years ago, my wife and I moved into Birkenhof when we turned 80. We're still glad we made the leap from our own four walls in time. We haven't regretted this decision for a second. Everything is just right: the house and its location in Kirchrode, the almost friendly interaction with our new neighbors, the daily swim in the on-site sports center, the restaurant. It's simply the perfect place to grow old! However, anyone expecting heaven on earth—see the 5th star—would be disappointed.
