Bickford is a lovely facility for someone who needs a safe place to live with activities and meals provided. It is not a place for people who have more challenging healthcare needs. The large sum of money paid to the Bickford did not translate into the level of care provided. It was a very disappointing experience. We are moving our parents out as quickly as possible.

We have been very happy with the experience at Bickford Of Chesapeake. My mother is very happy and adjusting well. It warms my heart to see the level of involvement of families in this facility. The staff is constantly trying to improve. Having had exposure to many other facilities, I would rate this the best in the area.
Always greeted with a smile by staff. Keeps me informed of mom. Makes sure she participates in activities, etc.
Excellent place to live safely and comfortably. Sadly this didn't last long with new staff being rude daily.
Great place with great people!
