It is so difficult to communicate with them if something is needed. Also, I started off with a geriatric Doctor and then ended up with a CRNP which is a certified registered nurse practitioner, who doesn't seem to know her way around too well. I won't recommend this server or group.

My mom passed from Alzheimer's in March 2023. We were referred to BGC right after our mom's diagnosis (unfortunately, right before the pandemic). Dr. Tyagi at BGC was kind and prescribed meds, but beyond that not much was offered despite many requests on our end for social work and other support. Right before we had to move our mom to a care facility in November 2022, we had a virtual appointment with Dr. Tyagi. She said to contact her if we needed anything at all during the transition and gave me her direct line. I called and left messages and she never once got back to me. We really could have used support during this traumatic time and BGC did not deliver. We were not happy with the care my mom or we as a family received from BGC.
Great physician services and care. Top physicians. 5 star this area. Support staff - nursing has not been reliable. Unfortunately, obtaining contact back from physician covering vacationing physician or nurse call lines at offices is terrible. Multiple messages left for 2 weeks for call back for serious need for aging father with psychiatrist nurse have not been answered. No call backs with need for changing symptoms. General information line, after explaining issue - sent me back to the nurse voice mail that hasn't been answered. Second call back to general information line, person was helpful and tried. She left message with important attached to it. Requested manager assist - no one helps with giving out manger name/number for assist. Is there any management?Waiting for urgent call back. My aging father had to be admitted which I think could have been avoided, if we had received care through nurse call system. Patient was seen in the hospital - aging father received no change or issues were not addressed. How does this happen just because an MD is on vacation? What is the coverage? Who's managing the service or concerns? Who is accountable when my 89 year old father's mental health deteriorates due to lack of proper follow up to Please call if anyone reads this so I can get care to my father before he has to be re-admitted for worsening symptoms.
Very difficult to reach an actual person by telephone. Every option leads to another list of options or the opportunity to leave a message. Even staying on the phone to wait for a person ends up with a message that the line does not answer and asks you to put in your mailbox number - obviously an error in their answer program. This has happened over several weeks so it's not likely that anyone at the practice has noticed it.
Dr. Pasquale and his team treat my mom with the utmost care and concern. Much thanks!
