I'm quite pleased with this facility. All the nursing, and medical personnel has been outstanding. If I have to point out a negative, it's hard to do. But only that most times, it takes the nurses' aids a little longer than expected to come to you when you call. But once they do get to your room, they are all exceptionally efficient, friendly, caring, and helpful, and we'll informed of your case. I do understand there's a shortage of good workers. But the ones at St. Gertrude are all keepers. In addition, OT & PT are as outstanding as the rest of the crew. Thank you all, & May God Bless You All.

The care was good, professional and kind. But they were understaffed as my husband had to wait an hour for someone to take him to the bathroom, as he was recovering from a broken hip. The private rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The food though was absolutely horrendous. My husband lost five pounds in the two weeks he was a patient. When people have no other choice than to be in rehabilitation, the food served can help tremendously with recovery. It must be nutritious and tasty. The portions could be increased a bit as well. My brother, who too has stayed here, concurs with all of the above. He also said that previously the food was pretty good. As I understand it, a new corporate owner has taken over. The physical therapy was quite good and thorough. Job well done. This would have been a five star rating, but the food is that bad that a three star rating is generous.
Nice Facility, nice caring friendly nursing staff, very clean, food pretty good, very accommodating for special needs. Good therapies for physical and occupational therapy sessions. Would recommend.
This is the second parent that has spent time at St. Gerts for rehab, and we love it. The staff goes above and beyond, even with as busy as they are! We feel like our aging parents are in a safe and kind environment.
Most of your staff on day shift is great, I am very unhappy with your help after them, especially yesterday as Mary could no t eat the brat so I asked to get a cheeseburger for her & was told by a lady that she was going to have me see someone else about t these constant food changes & I never heard anything more so she went without any replacement. I would also recommend you move your white boards closer to an o p en wall near the TV in this room & have your staff write there names on it @ every shift change.
