My mother is in rehab. The people I have seen interacting with my mom have been caring, compassionate, and encouraging. Nettie has been wonderful! She was clear, but very empathetic with my mother about what needs to happen in order to go home. She is happy to help and shows genuine concern! She was able to connect us with outside agencies. We feel like we have a friend watching out for mom when we are not there.

My mother broke her shoulder and was in Rehab for 8 weeks! I can’t thank the staff enough for the care and respect she was given. Shout out to the therapists & Social worker “Nettie” for keeping us informed on her progress, and for putting up with my jokes!! Thank you also to the Angels I gave an angel to for your kindness and help. Thank you also to Curt and Jenny for keeping an eye on her!!
Although the people were great there, management is in need of some fine tuning. Requests were made to 3 or 4 staff, they said they would do something but didn't. I never got an RSV shot after requesting from any nurse I talked to. I talked to several people that I needed a ride to my dr. Appt. But none was scheduled. I had no idea who to ask about different problems.Staff just said they'd take care of it but didn't. That said they were a great bunch of people!
My father RJ Is 70 and he is a new amputee who has been with the Bay for a month now. I want the give a huge THANKS AND APPRECIATION to Amanda, Mavis, and Tim for being openly available to me during the transfer from and to the BAY. Each of them made themselves available to me whenever I called or needed to ask any questions about the transfer of services for my dad to the Bay! The transfer of services and care was so smooth and easy. Once my dad was transferred the staff at the Bay were exceptionally great and very helpful to me. Nettie, the Social Worker is unbelievably a blessing to my family. She coordinated the care treatment plan meeting over the phone with me and all team members were available for the meeting. The head nurse, Maggie Keeney was very helpful with getting the medical portion of the care plan completed for my dad. The residential coordinator Asland was on point and available with setting up future appointments for my dad. Additionally, Mercedes was very helpful and on point with sending out the information needed to set up a financial account for my dad. My father loves having money to purchase his popcorn. Having an account for him makes it easy for me to get money to him when needed. I sat down and strategically wrote this review. I wanted to acknowledge everyone on a first-name basis or by their title with the Bay. Everyone of the staff that I mentioned in this review was so helpful, professional, and compassionate in making sure that my father RJ was transferred safely and making him feel comfortable as soon as he arrived at the BAY. I believe that a first impression is a lasting impression. I can't make any of this up. My experience has been nothing but excellent from the administrative to the management team that works closely with the family to the medical team that works closely with the patient and family at the Bay! I researched the Bay before my dad was transferred and I was so impressed with everything they had to offer! I know challenges come with everything in life. I vowed to all the staff that I have spoken with that I will help with making my father's care plan a success. I assured them that I understand the business and I will make their jobs as easy as I can when it pertain to my father. I can't be anything but Appreciative to the STAFF at the Bay because all this movement was done with me living in Florida. So I know that anything is possible when you have a great team and a supportive family working together to provide the best patient care! Thank You Sincerely To The BAY at Beloit staff!
