My mom lives there and is very happy with her routines. The staff continues to be amazing and supportive. Now if the county could only make guidelines that make sense. It’s safer for my whole family to come sit at one table with mom for a meal than to take her out to a restaurant where nobody is masked indoors and then bring her back, but those are the rules right now.

As a fitness professional I have a few clients living at different Belmont locations. At the Hollywood location, I'm always treated with respect and kindness; at the Burbank location, I'm quite horrified at how I was treated recently by the Wellness Coordinator (Diana) there. An incident occurred in which my client fell and her arm was bleeding, not profusely but enough to warrant a bandaid. Diana seemed quite annoyed when we asked her for one ( even though she had said she was leaving the room to bring one back). She really didn't seem interested in helping and we are not happy. I'm giving three stars as the place is always clean and there are some good people there such as Kim at the front/ lobby and David who oversees activities. I'm not pleased with how I was treated. Diana was abrupt and curt with me and the guy who looks about the machines there was also quite abrupt with me. I will update this review within the near future as we wait to see if Belmont cares enough about their residents and their reputation. If nothing is done, then safety is not considered top priority there and we will have to look further into how we can protect ourselves and the residents better.
Today I attended a September birthday celebration for my sister and other residents from “the neighborhood”. Emily Lomax, the memory coordinator, and her team (PALS, kitchen crew etc.) did a wonderful job of making it a festive celebration. Everyone was very friendly and kind. It was also nice to be able to chat with family members of other residents. Emily and the PALS helped initiate conversation, too.
The receptionist warmly greeted us and even remembered us after not seeing each other for many months. Also, Michelle took the time to chat with us even hough she was very busy. A fellow was playing the piano which added such a warm inviting atmosphere.
We visited many assisted living facilities in the Los Angeles area before we chose Belmont Village Burbank for my father. Belmont Village Burbank was not only the nicest and most cheerful facility by far, the costs there are very competitive and are indeed toward the lower end of what we saw when we were looking. The facility is very clean and very cheerful. My father was very lonely and depressed after the death of my mother. He has made new friends at Belmont Village Burbank. The many activities there bring him joy and comfort. He loves the musical performances in the afternoons and he loves to play Trivia on Thursday nights. My husband and I often join him at many of the activities. We chose a pet-friendly facility so that our three dogs could visit their grandpa, and our dogs are always welcomed by the staff and the residents at Belmont Village Burbank. My father often comments on the fact that all of the staff members know his name. We have seen how kind and caring all the staff members are. The administrators have always been very warm and gracious to us and are always available to help. We highly recommend Belmont Village Burbank.
