My daughter has been with Bello Machre since she finished her post secondary program after high school. They have been very helpful in getting her started with making homemade products which she sells at craft fairs and farmers markets. Bello Machre has even invited her to sell her homemade bath and body products at events they sponsor throughout the year. She has recently begun going on the Community Development (CDS) small group outings which she enjoys very much. The staff at Bello Machre are always courteous and very supportive in whatever she is doing. She looks forward to continuing her life journey with Bello Machre by her side.

I started working at Bello in June 2023 since I have been here it has been an amazing journey this has been one of the companies that I have worked for that take really good care of the people we support as well as staff and has a work life balance. Me working here over the past year in a half I have been able to see a lot of what Maryland has to offer through the activities that we do in the day program and to see the individuals smiles has made it a rewarding experience if was looking to either get in to this field or if already been in this field and looking for a place to call home would definitely be a place to come to.
I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering at many different events for Bello Machre and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. The care and respect Bello treats their staff and people they support with is absolutely inspiring. If Bello wasn’t around I wouldn’t have a fulfilling life.
Our son, David Jr has been at a Bello Machre group home for 3yrs and 10 month. He loves living at "The Big Boy House" Staff is alway willing to work along with us if we have an issue or suggestion. It was a hard decision to make, but we wanted to make sure he was living some where safe,and we are still here to answer any question's or concern's.
The staff truly care about the individuals they serve. They definitely create a safe space for your loved one to grow and reach their full potential. However, this is unfortunately not a place you would like to WORK. The leadership is poor, the "training" is poor, and the overall work environment behind the scenes is very shady. This is the type of place that gives you all the accolades, sends you soup when your sick, and a card when you get engaged but ALSO the same place that will lie when they get caught breaking their own policies, the same place your supervisor will spread your personal business among your colleagues, and the same place that blame their lower level staff when they are caught making a mistake. It's kind of like the Amazon of non profits. You know how we all love to use Amazon but everyone you know who works there hates it? That is Bello Machre. But they pay well and get you Panera every other Wednesday so there's always that! 😉 Edit: One star due to "commitment to open communication" response. A commitment to open communication isn't posting your staffs posting position WHILE they are still employed with your company... That is actually a complete lack of transparency and communication.
