Do not send your loved one here. It looks nice but there is something off about it. The staff blatantly lied to us and to our loved ones in there not just once but many times. They said they would do things for our loved ones but didn’t. It was very quiet and no one seems to be doing anything, everyone was just in their rooms. P.S. Brian who has given this place a Google 5 star review is the client service manager there.

My Grandfather had a nasty fall which led to his death! I'm very disappointed that a RN on duty didn't follow protocol and caused more harm and pain to grandad then needed grandad shattered to vertebraes in his neck but they still intend to move grandad causing him more pain then needed, it's common sense and basic knowledge to not move a resident who has hit there head let alone break his neck. Please make sure your loved ones Advance care directive is updated and well voiced to Bella Vista as they didn't follow grandads advance care directive I would hate for this to happen to someone else. The way the care was towards this situation was absurd and shouldn't of happened policy's are put in place for a reason. I Thank the kind staff that came a showed there respects and condolences for our grandparents.
Yes the food is great and varied, the amenities are nice and the gardens maintained, but I'm more concerned about the numerous falls Chris has had which has resulted in a broken hip, broken nose and a black eye. Chris has no concept of using the call button to buzz for help. I have found her under the armchair in her room. Trying to get information about her ongoing health problems is so difficult. For the overpriced facility there should be a duty of care by the staff, mgt & the owners
My mum is currently on 3 weeks' respite care at Bella Vista. I have to say that Bella Vista Gardens is the nicest facility I have ever seen. It looks just like a 5 star hotel. The staff are all very caring and super friendly. The grounds are immaculately landscaped and the rooms are very comfortable and beautifully appointed. There's even Foxtel! There are regular and varied activities for the residents to enjoy, including regular trips on the bus. The food is top class and there's lots of variety. There are also numerous lounge areas which are very comfortable and quiet for residents and their guests. My mum can be very fussy, but she has just loved her time here and getting to know some of the permanent residents. All in all, Bella Vista Gardens is a beautiful facility which cannot be faulted.
If I could give less stars I would. Management were rude, unreasonable and unapproachable. My grandmother only stayed for 3 weeks before we had to move her, as we were told our expectation of showers (we asked for more than 2 a week for my grandmkther) and clean sheets (weren't changed for 3 weeks) was 'too high' by managament, thus asked us to leave on the day we met with them to discuss our concerns! When residents saw us leaving, they approached us and told us they too were experiencing issues but felt that of they said anything they too would be asked to leave! Please don't believe the sales pitch if you care about your family members. It's new and shiny with all the bells and whistles but no follow through on care! So sad and disappointing.
