Nice nursing home. My mom stayed here for rehab years ago and very happy with care. I gave it 4 stars because they can use some updating of the building. I think all places are like this unfortunately. I am sure with being full, due to some health care nursing homes facility closing down. Rooms clean, but carpets in hall and sitting area did notice needed to be vacuumed more often.

Excellent customer service, and care. So glad they had a bed open for our family member. The whole staff not only met but exceeded my expectations.
Starting with the positives, thank you to CNA Christina, Jessica, and a few more that I cannot remember the names of. Nurse Sunam, Nurse Alli, big thank you to PT/OT Richie and Kirsten for their humanity and professionalism. As for everything else, the management in this place needs a lot of work. I was put in this place during the weekend (Saturday/Sunday) for short term rehab after a leg surgery. There was no one there to evaluate me and continue the progress made in the hospital. I was set back two days because there was no staff. I was thrown in a room with no orientation. The management sucks, they do have employees handling things unprofessionally, I would hear them talking about me amongst themselves as well as other patients. I heard things such as them fighting over shifts, there was a TB case in the facility (I will not specify the room for privacy purposes). Some of the staff was very uncaring, I was left the first day with no pain meds because they had not been ordered, I had to call my husband to bring me Tylenol after I had just gotten out of surgery. I had actually called 911 to get me to go home, but due to the snowstorm and in my condition I could not. There was a nurse with the initial J that was an hour and a half late in giving me pain meds, when I had asked why it had taken so long, her excuse was that she was in another wing. The bed was broken, the room was either too hot (86 degrees) or too cold (63 degrees). All of my concerns were brought up to a social worker and staff. My worry is that 90% of that facility is older people with dementia, I worry that while I was able to speak up for myself, there were many who couldn’t. If it wasn’t for the people mentioned in the beginning, I wouldn’t have made it through. If you are looking for a rehab facility for short term disability/rehabilitation, I implore you to read this review and make an educated decision.
Staff was great! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, I would recommend Bel-Air Manor, it was very clean and pretty inside. Coming from a very bad experience at a different nursing home, I am still in awe as to how nice this one compares. I’d give this place 100 stars if I could!!!
Stefan, Erik, Junior, and Alyssia are extremely patient and caring with Mom. Very attentive and reassures her they are there if she needs anything. Staff always checking in on her and making sure she is participating in events on days they have live entertainment.
