I am a resident at the Chessman location. My daughter did an extensive search to find the perfect placement for me. I'm so glad she found this place. The care is excellent. I honestly love all the staff. They provide such excellent care. If you're looking for long term care, I highly recommend Beehive Homes on Chessman.

I would not let my dog stay here. People of color are not welcomed here and are mistreated. Mouse droppings are in the kitchen. Beware of the mice in the kitchen
There is no way in the world I would let my loved one stay here. It's a horrible place mangers mistreat the help
I can't say enough positive things about this amazing place!! They treat your loved one as if they are their own family! The level of care that is given is above anything we could have provided at home! Rooms are perfectly sized and accommodated with private restrooms. You are able to personalize each room to make each space reflect a feeling of "home". I couldn't have asked for a better place for my Dad!! We love them!!
We moved our mom to the Bee Hive after transferring her from an Assisted Living facility she had lived in for a year and a half. Although mom could walk slowly on her own before entering the Bee Hive, a staff manager insisted she use a wheel chair. Due to this inactivity mom got to a point where she could not or would not walk because she was in too much pain and could not stand without extreme discomfort. In essence her leg muscles were allowed to atrophy. We were immediately deeply concerned with the lack of a supervisor on weekends. It seemed like staff was newer and more unexperienced employees. Within two months of living at the Bee Hive mom developed a bed sore and a blood clot in her left leg. The blood clot went to her heart which caused her to have a seizure. She was hospitalized for 4 days. After she was released from the hospital, I contacted the facility Administrator twice to set up a meeting to discuss concerns about mom's care because on one of my visits it took staff 20 minutes to open the door and let me in. I was concerned that they were perhaps scrambling to get mom cleaned up and presentable or else they had her parked in front of the TV which I had informed them I did not want them to do. The Administrator never followed through with setting up a meeting. Two weeks before mom passed away a supervisor had asked my sister what was wrong with me because I was spending hours and hours with my mom. I'm sorry, I did not think that was a crime. I would have thought they would be happy to see a family member take interest in a loved one. I spent all that time with her because I could tell she was going to pass soon and I was not confident she was getting the care she deserved. I wanted to be there for her in her last days. I would like to commend employee Marissa. She truly has a heart for this type of work and took amazing care of mom when she was on duty. She treated mom with the care and respect she deserved. It is criminal that for $5500/month mom received such mediocre care. I truly regret ever putting mom in the Bee Hive.
