Beckett House is looking real nice with the renovations. The building is clean and doesn’t smell like a typical nursing home. All the staff is friendly and the food is good!
My Father has been there for over 5 years now. The staff is amazing and treats him and the family like family. We never worry about him when we can not be there, because we know that he is in the good hands and getting the best of care !
Horrible experience! They are not even worth 1 star!!! My father n law was taken there on hospice from the hospital for comfort care. However he was not in comfort at all! Not only did they not have working air, he was falling almost every day. They don't do 1 on 1 even when needed!! We walked in 1 evening and he he was hooked to an oxygen tank that was empty and on the opposite side of room from his call light button in a Jerry chair. When we told the nurse she didn't care. We also learned he was not getting his meds like was ordered even after 3 meetings with their don and several others. I don't recommend this place! The list goes on with how bad of experience he had.
My Beloved Sister, Betty Sue Hughes-Tester. She spent her last weeks of Pancreatic Cancer at Beckett House, New Concord, Ohio. Never in my life have I experienced a more loving, caring, compassionate, and excellant staff. They made not only my beloved Sister last days easier, but encommpassed our entire family with their compassion. I can not thank them enough for giving all their care and dignity. God Bless all of you. The entire staff, all of them gave and showed us kindness. I know this has been awhile to post but will never ever forget all of you.
