Beacon Harbor is a great facility and I would highly recommend for any of your loved ones. The staff takes good care of their patients and will go that extra mile to meet any wants or needs. My grandma received excellent care in her time at this facility. I never doubted that she was always surrounded by a loving environment, whether that be from the wonderful staff or just being included in fun group events.

My motherland was in this place . We went 2 cause we live 3 hours away. Everything we wenther room was not clean. Her kid took her out cause charging 15,000 !a month. Now she is living at home with me and her son . She has told us the staff would yell at her ect. Her nails were as long as the fake nails at a salon . They were yellow orange had gunk underneath them . Also has 3 bedsores to the bone. When we went I noticed that alot of the desk staff members would have a elder sleeping in thier wheelchair by their chair like pets I guess that is the favorite patient. When we were leaving they did not help load her into the chair walk out with us help load her up . Which is not right . I wouldn't recommend my dog to this place also she was paralyzed waist down now her right arm is now stuck in bent position so didn't work with her .
My mother received exceptional care from the facility. Don Thompson goes above and beyond to take care of patients as well as his employees. I cannot say enough about this man or this place. They made my life so much better.
We had a great experience with Beacon Harbor! The staff was very professional and made us feel at home. They took care of everything from intake to discharge making it a seem less transition . Thanks for the wonderful experience!
I urge anyone considering this facility to think twice. The care my father-in-law received at Beacon Harbor for rehab following his hospital discharge was less than adequate. Essential medications were missed on multiple occasions, he experienced excessively long wait times for assistance—over 40 minutes after pushing the call button, his pick line was not kept clean and flushed, and his IV leaked soaking his clothes and bedding, but no one noticed until we alerted them that there was an issue. We had to keep a wheelchair by his bed to help him reach the restroom (since they wouldn’t come in a timely manner to assist him with using the walker), and a spilled lunch tray was ignored several times as caregivers walked around the mess in the room without batting an eye. Most concerning was the staff's negligence in recognizing signs of his declining health (even when we requested they check his vitals) which ultimately resulted in a hospital transfer where he was diagnosed with flu, pneumonia, and sepsis. Think twice before sending your loved ones here.
