Recently, I took my mother and her husband to take a tour of this facility. My mothers husband gave them a deposit of $2000+ for an apartment. They were denied the apartment and it's been a month and have not recieved their deposit of $2000+ back.Mind you this is a senior living apartment and most if not all live off a fixed income. So isn't this a form of elderly abuse by not returning their money. Then the question lies, how many seniors have they done this too. How much money have they stole from seniors and denied the apartment rental. How long does it take to return a cashiers check? Denial should mean immediate refund right? As a tenant the law states 21 days to return a tenants security deposit. But, if they never moved in how long to get your money back. They need their money to move in somewhere else. The money was given to Salvador, Salvador said Ilene is the Business Office Manager who control the refund. My mother husband has spoke to Ilene 2x and still haven't received the money back. Ilene said she has to speak with someone regarding the refund. Long story short. They robbed the seniors and are now passing on the responsibility of the refund.

I’m not yet a renter, so I can’t give technically give 5 starts. But I have toured the site with Salvador to secure a spot and wanted to take a minute here and mentioned that Salvador has been very helpful. I recommend others NOT hesitate in working with him to find a home. He’s professional and polite.
This place is welcoming and the residents appear happy and taken care of. My family is preparing to move grandma in. We took her to pick her room and she said it was nice and liked it especially the view from her room. She even enjoyed the time spent at Happy Hour listening to live music. So many residents came together and the musician sang a fun variety of music. Can’t wait to see her thrive and enjoy the community.
Had a tour today to see apartment units. Very nice atmosphere and friendly and professional staff members. I've just started my apartment search to prepare for my retirement years and it is in a nice and convenient area of Long Beach. If you are interested, I would really recommend requesting a tour. Very helpful!
My family member has lived at Bay Towers for the last 8 years. It used to be a really nice place to live and was good value. Since Pacifica has taken over the prices have gone up which I understand, but the amenities have been cut dramatically. The building is not being managed efficiently. They advertise 24 hour staff but do NOT provide that. Transportation is sporadic and unreliable. Whenever there is a maintenance request it requires a lot of follow up to see it through to completion which I find frustrating and exhausting. It's difficult enough caring for aging parents, all of this is just adds unneeded stress. So if you like cockroaches in your bed, elevators that work 75% of the time, inconsistent transportation, spotty cable, and problematic AC in the summer months with a side of insufficient heat in the winter then, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE. Save yourself the grief and look elsewhere.
