Having to make the decision to move both Mom and Dad to an assisted living was very difficult on everyone. Mom and Dad were needing more and more care but also needed to feel a level of independence and dignity. Mom and Dad were even able to stay together at The Barrington which meant the world to us and them. The facility is beautiful and clean and the staff is amazing from the administrators to the medical staff and the aids, the people on the front desk, the kitchen staff as well as the cleaners, laundry staff, activities staff and the maintenance people. The staff goes out of their way to get to know the residents and make them feel comfortable. They couldn't be more kind, caring and compassionate. We are grateful for people like Jane and Chris who always have a kind word for the residents and make them feel like they still matter. We are grateful for the aids like Glorious who will make sure the residents are taken care of in a dignified, friendly way. We are grateful for nurses like Rose and Tiana that take such great care of our parents and are always accessible if we have a question or concern. We are confident in knowing that The Barrington is putting the the residents care above all else. After having a bad experience at a different facility, we really really appreciate The Barrington Terrace! We are Blessed.

The teams are consistently professional, compassionate, and truly focused on resident well-being. They’re always receptive to working with outside support like ours to ensure residents receive the continuity of care they deserve. I am satisfied with Barrington Terrace. It is a clean facility. Service is good. Gazebo is nice and well kept. The building grounds are beautiful. Healthcare is outstanding. The staff has remained good and consistent.
The Barrington of Fort Meyers has been nothing but a blessing for my family! We moved my Mom and Dad here over a year ago after a very stressful placement prior and the staff immediately jumped in and took over with excellent, warm and compassionate care! Our family visits almost every single day and we often tell each other that we leave feeling so thankful every day that we found this home for my Mom and Dad. I spend a lot of time in the late afternoons and evenings so I mostly see Tamara and Mackenzie at the front desk and I can't say enough about their work and just about them as kind people! Tamara is always so helpful (and is a great bus tour guide for residents day trips) and Mackenzie is probably one of the kindest people I have ever met! She is just so very sweet to all of the residents! Moe is a lifesaver for us keeping Mom busy and happy every single day! She has the biggest heart and is very creative with her daily activities! I also appreciate the loving care of Billie, Udna and Cherlande. I can't say it enough! They take such great care and really take pride in their work as caregivers! And I don't want to forget the kitchen staff...especially Nisha who has a smile every single day as she serves meals! I know I must have missed some as every single person at the Barrington has brought our family peace! The love, care and compassion bring us so much comfort! Thank you to all for stepping up at a time that could be so difficult! You have made it all so nice for our family!
If you are looking for a wonderful, caring, place for an aging family member, Barrington Terrace of Fort Myers is where you need to be. We moved my 97-year-old mother in one year ago and have been nothing but pleased and extremely grateful for the level of care she receives. I want to recognize the following staff members, as their level of kindness, caring and service has always been above and beyond: Tamara, Rose, and LaBrita from food service.
