The staff at Laurel Glen at Carrollton Assisted Living have gone above and beyond to make my grandparents' transition to assisted living this past year as easy as possible. They have been incredibly kind to all of our family making us feel welcome every time we come to visit. When it came time for my grandfather to transition to a different room, they moved mountains and made modifications to his room quickly so that he could get a fresh start in his new space. Our family is forever thankful to the staff at Laurel Glen for caring for our beloved Mimi and Papa like they were their own.
My review of Laurel Glen is based on the time my parents lived there. I observed a well trained and very caring staff. More importantly they were adequately staffed. It was clean, warm and safe. From day one the concierge, Cory, answered my questions and was available to guide me. There are too many to thank at Laurel Glen. Just know I remember your names and everything you did for my parents with much love.
Laurel Glen and the staff have been so good to family and take phenomenal care of them The first person you will probably see is Cory. He takes care of the front desk and many other jobs. If we ever need anything we call Cory. They have a great Chef-Robert, Pat and Josh also works the kitchen and many others. The food is delicious. The med-techs, Mandy and Lisa make sure everyone has their meds. Rita is the activities director and does a great job keeping everyone entertained with games, trips or doctors appointments. Lots more great staff that work so well together to make Laurel Glen a great place to live. I don’t feel like I have to worry about my dad. I can call on the staff at anytime and they also keep me well informed. I highly recommend Laurel Glen.
Mom has been at Laurel Glen for 2 years. When we first stopped in to see the place the residents were very encouraging, saying once they settled-in they were very happy. It did take mom a couple of months to adjust. Now she loves it. She praises the staff, the food, and how convenient everything is. I am amazed at how often I see staff (who don't know I am watching) take time to help mom rather than just do it for her or skip it. I can't say enough about the patience and positive attitudes of everyone at Laurel Glen.
