My mother and uncle have really enjoyed Baldwin House. It has been a perfect place with great care and staff. Sherry is such a bright light keeping the residents engaged. Evelyn is lovely and helpful. Since my mother was wheel chair bound, the ACE caregivers (Theresa, Anita, and many more) gave her great care, attentive and caring. My mother and uncle are happy with the quality of food, the apartments, happy hours, and fun activities. Thank you so much for everything that you have done for my mother and continue to do for the residents of Baldwin House!

Mark is great! He helped me and my mom from beginning to the end! He made the process smooth! I was even in another state working with Mark! He is very kind, friendly and just a down to earth person! When my mom got sick he personally checked on her and I greatly appreciated that! After she got back home he still checked on her and even brought food to her a couple times when they had activities going on! He's great and I will definitely recommend Baldwin Oakland.I also want to add that their ACE team is great also!
Almost 1 year ago my family was looking for a place for our Mom to move into. We contacted and visited many places. By far the best was Baldwin House Oakland. From the start we were in contact with Mark who met with us and walked us through the entire process. He showed us many apartment options and kept looking and stayed in touch with us. Once we agreed and signed up, he personally helped with the move-in process and checked in on us, even bringing some food to help welcome us. My Mom's time there has been great and Mark continues to check in, making sure everything is perfect. If you are looking for a place for a family member or a place for yourself, I recommend contacting Baldwin House Oakland and asking for Mark.
My father spent his last 6 years at Baldwin House. They took SUCH good care of him. The staff was beyond friendly, and really went above and beyond, especially towards the end. I've had to deal separately with a number of assisted living facilities for my mother in Florida, and none of them came anywhere close to Baldwin House in terms of the facilities and the people. I miss my father very much, but it gives me comfort to know how well he was taken care of at Baldwin House.
From the initial visit to the day our moms moved to the Baldwin House almost a year ago, Mark greeted her with "Welcome home, Mrs. Adams. " We knew then that the Baldwin House was the right choice. We just wanted to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Mark and staff at the Baldwin House. Being in a different state, Mr. Mark, along with the staff, have gone above and beyond to ensure that our mothers transition was smooth and easy. Mahalo for keeping us informed.
