Love this place! After choosing this community for our loved one, I can confidently say The Waterford at Miracle Hills is second to none! From the wonderful care he receives from the caring staff members, to the amazing array of activities that are offered. Even the food is superb! I can't say enough great things about this place and every staff member we have met. Thank you for providing such great services, and caring for our family member like one of your own.
My family and I are happy with the staff and services my mother receives at Waterford at Miracle Hills. My mother has lived there for the last 7 years. There are lots of activites and singing groups/people who come to entertain. My Mom says the food is good. There is a new director, Kaite who is easy to work with. The nurse, Michelle, is a very caring and professional person
I adore the home like feel of The Waterford at Miracle Hills. The courtyard beams in the center of the community with its beauty of the season and the occasional cookout. Each time I have interacted with their sales director she is professional, intelligent, and easy to work with. Definitely worth a tour if you are looking for assisted living.
My grandma lived here for approximately 2 years. The staff was amazing and took such great care of her. Everyone lived her and was so helpful. My grandma passed a few weeks ago and my mom was stressed with making funeral plans and then getting my grandma's stuff moved out and the staff told us not to worry about that right now. She passed on Thursday, we had the funeral on Monday and then we had to go out of town for the burial on Tuesday. My mom received a call on the way to the burial from Sophie (I believe that's what her name was) informing my mother that we needed to have everything out of the apartment by Thursday. The way this was said was very unpleasant and not understanding at all. My mom explained that we were on out of town, on the way to the burial. She called back later stating that we could have until Saturday (again, in a very unpleasant way) but my mom didn't want to deal with it anymore. So, Wednesday, my parents and myself went and moved everything out. When we went to tell them that everything was out and the keys were in the apartment, Sophie came out and questioned us (very rudely) about if we left the cable box and all the keys. We did and we told her this. She gave her condolences but it was not sincere, what-so-ever. She was very condescending and this really rubbed me the wrong way and really upset my mother. I was very unhappy with the way things were handled by her and I hope that this is not how they treat everyone when a loved one passes. If it was not for this experience at the end I would have giving 5 stars. Unfortunately, I do not think that I would recommend this place to anyone else. This experience made it seem that my grandma was just a number and that, even though the apartment was paid for until the end of the month, they just wanted the stuff to be out so they could have another check coming in. No sympathy for a grieving family.
