While searching for a place for my mom to transition to as she ages we were recommended by numerous people to look into Azalea and we were all very impressed with both the facility and the staff. It felt like walking into a comfortable and welcoming home. Wendy, Kaitlin and everyone we met with were all extremely helpful, honest, and kind. We decided on choosing Azalea for my Mom and felt extremely relieved and comfortable with our decision. Thanks for all the help and honesty while making this difficult decision.

I had the pleasure to tour Azalea Estates on 9/4/24. I was so pleased with the beauty and clean surroundings, friendly employees and Residents that I met during the tour. Katelyn, Marketing and Sales, took me on the tour. She is a lovely lady, that gave a thorough tour of this Beautiful Independent Living Apartment Complex. I am considering the possibility of getting an Apartment in this Complex within the next year.
My partner and I moved to Azalea Estates about the beginning of April, 2024. To understand GOOD it truly helps to know BAD. We moved from a retirement community in Durham that is very poorly managed. The Executive Manager at the retirement community in Durham is, generously speaking, incredibly inept and the Management Company there is despicable. Azalea Estates is the complete opposite. I read a review from someone that appears to be disgruntled former employee criticizing the Manager at Azalea Estates (Windy) as being narcissistic and concerned with keeping the occupancy at 100%. Experience tells me that review is inaccurate based upon the writer's bias and ignorance. The manager's job is to make sure that the train is in full operating order (staff works properly and the facility is well maintained) and that it runs on schedule. She's not hired to be anybody's friend or babysitter. As middle management, she receives pressure from the parent corporation from above and pressure from the residents. That's never a comfortable position. In order to make the trains run on time, the revenue from the occupancy is the essential fuel that makes this happen. In closing I can only say that this retirement community is exceptionally well run. The facilities are well maintained, the food is extremely well prepared for communal living, and the staff is fantastic. A thermodynamic analogy would be that if management did not expend a great deal of energy running this place, entropy would dictate relentless decay. Congratulations and thanks for a job well done by Windy and Chris. Ken Gordon
I work here through another company. All the housekeeping and kitchen staff are always so nice. I can't give much detail about the management or the administration side of things if you're reading the post for that. It's a beautiful building inside, several engaging activities available for active seniors in this building. I see lots of people walking their dog, it's dog friendly.
Visited family vary nice place vary clean exilent staff if you live around here would or don't looks like a good place for retirement!
