Horrible place. Nurses sit at desks on their phones, multiple call light are on. But get told “We are too backed up right now” Doing what? Watching TikToks? The activity aids was more helpful than the nurses. The food was something I wouldn’t even give to a dog. Uncooked, overcooked, extremely small portions. I seen food come out almost a hour late. The kitchen staff if toxic. Arguments, no communication. Nurses expected everyone else to drop what they are doing because the nurses need something when they can just do it themselves. The nurses wanna be charge so bad I say let everyone else go home and leave that to the nurses since they wanna complain about how “they gotta do everything around here” .

If I could rate this place a no star or even just a half I would. My mother in law was placed here ( not by our choice) and the care she recieved was just disgusting. First off she is a dialysis patient she does have a port. They never gave her a shower because they said they couldn't do to the port. She hadn't had a shower in 4 months. Her roommate screamed all day and all night. The roommate asked one of us to suck her toes, then wanted us to crawl in bed with her between her legs. Like REALLY! My mother in law was literally going insane. There is ABSOLUTELY no housekeeping at all the whole building smells like poop and it hits you hard right in the face as soon as you step off the elevator. Her room was never cleaned there was food all over the floor for weeks. There was dried poop on the toilet from god knows who because they never used it. My mother in law had to ask to be changed, her roommate would scream to be changed. Just a mess. Food was always late and gross. This place needs help! Or shut down. We took her out as soon as we could and they asked why......we were nice and said we wanted her closer to us, but in reality I wanted to say because it's freaking gross here and how do you not know it??? Please check these places out before putting your loved ones in.
My mother was recently admitted to Ayden / Belden Village Care Facility. As she was Coming from another state, they made the transition very easy considering her healthcare and placement. All the staff from memory care to the 2nd floor housing units are wonderful. They set a good standard for being dedicated and professional toward the residents. I have no regrets placing my mom there other than the fact that the food is not very good so residents eat sweets and chips. I guess when u get older , may as well give them what they want unless someone is going to rehab them if removed. All the staff there treated my mom w respect and we're compassionate. People have to realize that this business is very tough. People are your product per se. No serious mistakes were ever made thank God.
If I could give this "facility" negative stars I would. We have had nothing but problems. My grandfather who is in last stage dementia has been in there for several months. They kept pushing back his release date. He was only there for rehabilitation after a short hospital stay. For months they said physical therapy needed him to stay longer. After months of dealing with this, they informed us out of the blue that we owed over $30,000 because Medicare wouldn't continue to pay. They never told us about this before he racked up a huge bill. He has been injured there. He has fallen. We have found him on more than one occasion sitting in a wheel chair alone in the hallway. Now, on the day he was supposed to come home, Bob Denny calls and says they have filed with the courts to get guardianship. Two days ago they were ready to release him. These people are crooked money hungry people. We have contacted an attorney to deal with them. I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE!
My father, is 92 and he is in ManorCare Health Services-Belden Village facility for about 4 months. He has a dementia and other age related health issues. Our family had many hesitations and concerns, before we made decision about our dad final place to live as long as he can be with us No regrets! it is hard to imagine better care and more loving people, who take care of our dad! Place is very clean, no smells, food is good, care is good People are well trained and have big hearts Thank you, ManorCare!
