I had a tour with Deyse and she was extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient for her first day she’s a natural and her attention to detail was second to none with the most greatest hospitality. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an affordable living facility in the Decatur area to come see her. Oh and don’t get me started on the TikTok page it’s definitely different everyone needs to go see it @avondale_village After touring this place I will say it’s really going in the right direction.
I'm a caregiver for my Aunt that lives here. And since I started taking care of her the place fills like homie like you are right at home. And I would have to say it's super nice, quite, and friendly. I hope one day when I get older I'll live at a place like that 🤣😊🤣 🤗🤭🤗.
I don't have to worry about my mom living here. The place is safe, clean, and the common areas are very well kept. The apartments are old, so of course they always need repairs, but the management is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Once a month they hold free food for the community so they hand out vegetables, bread, fruit, etc.
How does management and maintenance leave thier seniors residents with no working stove over the weekend. Absolutely unconceivable. I will be reporting this to HUD.
