Avista is awesome. The management is super friendly and the caregivers are really on top of things. You can tell they genuinely care about their residents.
Avista is small, warm, and inviting, a perfect homelike environment for seniors. Emily is a gem to work with and is compassionate and caring!
My elderly mother was living there for almost a year. I believe by the time we took her out, the whole staff had quit. The kitchen had flooded, and residents had to eat out of to go containers for over 3 months until the leaks were fixed. I know that they had at least 2 medication reports to the state. The staff was always good to my mother, but not well trained. Before Louisa House was bought by Avista, I hear it was a nice place. To bad big buisness ruined it.
Never seen a place that felt more like home. The residents are treated like family, and the management is amazing!!! Love love love the home like feeling of this place.
