The facility is very clean and the staff here is always having a good time. They get to know the patients really take the time to help them feel comfortable. I rest assured that my family is in the best of care. The director of nursing reviews the patient care plans and makes sure to catch anything that needs a second set of eyes or review from a doctor. She communicates with us in a way that is clear and easy for us to understand. She’s honest with us and my family when we have to make harder changes for the best results and we appreciate it so much. They also helped us by providing us the resources we needed to make sure that we could bill our insurance company properly. This team really helped make sure that we were taken care of on every front.
James is my name and I wanted to say that this is a place your love ones want to come to. The staff are friendly and their activities are awesome. The church service for different religious times are great. My church has been coming their for the past 4 years and have enjoyed our time. It smells good, looks good, and it just feels good to be among the older residents too. It's 4 Star in my book.
My experience with Killeen at Avir has been nothing short of excellent. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. They truly care about the residents and go the extra mile to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and feels welcoming. My dad has been thriving there—both physically and emotionally. Communication with the family is also top-notch; they keep us informed and involved in care decisions. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality elder care.
The care that these residents receive is top notch. It can be hard being elderly and being put into a facility for care, especially for the families. The Assistant nursing director, idk how to spell her name but I’ll try, Theda, is doing a superb job she was super helpful and even made sure her other residents were comfortable as well. If this is the caliber of nurse y’all are hiring, I’m so happy to know that my family member is in good hands.
