We had the privilege of renting here while we were in the states for some medical needs. We signed a 6 month lease. The best thing about this place is the community however. The people that live here took us in and accepted us knowing full well that we were leaving the states again in 6 months time. The business itself does much to help grow the community feel by hosting weekly get togethers and daily continental breakfast, as well as hosting holiday themed parties. Go for a tour and decide for yourself if this is a place for you.

This is a beautiful place to see... I was fortunate because my long-time friend, who was in town at the time helping her sister move into her new apartment, invited me on a tour of the entire area. Lots of accommodations. Lots of amenities. You don't need to leave for anything unless you just want to go shopping. This building should be built in different states, of course, to accommodate seniors, in my opinion. I liked everything about it, especially the continental breakfast and movie theater, with the popcorn. Oh, and the beautiful pool setting on top of the building where you look out and see the beautiful Lake.
What an exceptional community. Upon stepping foot into the building, I was immediately impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The apartments themselves are spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. From the modern kitchen appliances to the safety features like grab bars in the bathroom, it is evident that careful thought was put into the comfort and convenience of the residents. If you are a senior looking for an enriching and enjoyable retirement lifestyle, I wholeheartedly recommend this community.
The Avidor is an amazing to live! I moved here in October 2023 and have had a great time. The events are engaging and inclusive, and the staff and residents are welcoming. It a wonderful place for adults 55 and older to call home!
Location, location, location- just minutes' walk from everything downtown Evanston has to offer! The property boasts fantastic resort-style amenities and has an engaging resident-life program. The unit is spacious, modern, and offers everything I could need and more. The staff is super accommodating, and do their best to make everyone feel at home. I am so fortunate to call this place home.
