I am so very happy with Oakwood facility. I work with an outside agency that comes in to see my patients. The staff is absolutely amazing not only towards me but our patients. It makes me feel so at peace knowing how much Oakwood’s staff love and care about our patients. Keep up the great work! We are blessed by your amazing facility and all the love and care you give!

I rarely leave reviews but I needed to make a special consideration for this one. I’m an Occupational Therapist so have my foot in the door when it comes to healthcare and have my own opinions and qualms about some of the things going on. You hear a lot of bad about nursing homes but I have nothing but good to say about Oakwood. My dad was not under their care for too long before he had to go back to the hospital but let me tell you…. From admission to even now (even though he’s no longer in their care) they have been exceptional. Special recognition goes to Starr Warren who was very instrumental with answering my questions, providing comfort and support and continue to be there for me in one of the hardest times in my life. Would definitely recommend
My father, mother, father-in-law, and mother-in-law and several friends and loved ones have lived at Oakwood Village and received very excellent care. This 72-acre retirement community is in the city but feels like your in a secluded beautiful country setting with all the wildlife, trails, and prairie.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found Oakwood Village Nursing Home. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by Starr. Starr is absolutely amazing and very informative and passionate about Oakwood. The staff is truly exceptional—every nurse and caregiver goes above and beyond to ensure that residents feel comfortable, cared for, and valued. The facility itself is clean, bright, and inviting, with a range of activities that keep residents engaged and social. The communal spaces are lovely, providing a great atmosphere for residents to socialize and enjoy each other's company. Additionally, the level of personalized care is outstanding. The staff takes the time to get to know each resident’s unique needs and preferences, which makes a world of difference. Communication is also excellent; I always feel informed about any patients that I have contacted Starr about. Most importantly, I can see the genuine compassion that the staff has for the residents. They treat each individual with dignity and respect, creating a true sense of community. I highly recommend Oakwood Village Nursing Home to anyone seeking a nurturing and supportive environment for their loved ones. It truly feels like a home away from home!
My mother was here for a week for rehab. OT and PT were great! The nursing part was horrible. I did not feel safe with my mother there. It’s a shame because she was doing great in rehab..
