My experience with Avanti Senior Living was very positive. I found the staff and care my mother received (my highest priority) to be excellent and exceeded my expectations. Everyone from the staff that helped her daily to the front desk and leadership team were amazing. I also found the facility to be clean, bright, and well designed. I just wish we had found it sooner.
I would like to thank Valerie Colon and all the staff at Avanti Senior Living at Vision Park for the amazing care they provided to my mother. It takes qualified people to provide care for patients with that terrible disease, dementia. Avanti Senior Living was a great place for my mother to call home for 5 years. I highly recommend their Memory Care and Assisted Living facilities for people with special needs. Again, thank you and the staff for exceeding expectations.
This is a sad time for me as my brother just passed from cancer while living at Avante. But I have nothing but affection and praise for the care he was given. The facility is nice. In fact it is VERY nice. Beautifully laid out and decorated. But what really stood out for my brother were the people who cared for him. Somehow the facility fosters a culture of competence, warmth and caring that is truly unusual. I was a CEO of a health care company serving seniors for 25 years and had a chance to see it all in hospitals, nursing homes, home health and therapy. I am truly impressed with the front line people who provide health care generally. But the people and care at Avante were well above average and made all the difference for my brother. How do you tell the difference? Small things and large things. Listen to how they answer the phone or greet you when you come in the door. Notice how they acknowledge you when you pass them in the hallway. Watch how they interact with your love ones. Notice the pride when they are doing their jobs. Listen to how they answer your questions and explain how they are caring for your loved one. Notice how closely they follow their care schedule. Listen to their suggestions for extra things to do. Look into their eyes for their sincerity. No doubt, much of this culture is due to the leadership of the facility in hiring, fostering and rewarding good behaviors. I have a deep personal appreciation for what they have done for my brother. I want to sincerely thank all who were involved.
Beautiful facility with a really amazing staff! Everyone so professional but also makes one feel at home. My parents loved living here where they make you feel like family.
