Wonderful way of kindness and love shown by the staff who do the job not just for money it is because they want. The love they show to the patients is truly one of kindness. Especially when you stop to think about how they have to push aside their personal issues, trauma, and drama to do a thankless job. To the staff at Autumn Lake Healthcare: THANK YOU! APPRECIATE ALL THAT YOU DO!

If you value your loved ones do not send them here, my grandpa is a resident here and everytime me and my mom come to visit his food is always cold or they are running out of the regular meal to give him so he gets a cold alternative or scraps from whatever they have left. The nursing staff is somewhat pleasant only a couple of them actually do their job.Due to us(me and my mom) visiting when she gets off we come up to have dinner with my grandpa, he never gets the meal that is on the menu as advertised, the two dietary aides that are twins are wonderful and can tell they really want to do their job, the others are lazy and rude, the cook comes off as disrespectful and hates his job, doesn’t take accountability and tries to hide behind anyone. The smell of feces and urine will hit you upon exiting the elevator. Building in terrible condition.
Poor staffing residents are served cold food. My love one asked if he could outside to get fresh air. He was told no, but they allow residents to go outside to smoke. I was there tonight visiting and one of the workers had their young son on the job with them. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wonder if I’ll see this posted.
The care here for patients is horrible. the community areas are locked unless they have something schedlued which means many residents are in the hallways or have to stay in thier room. Patients are left unclean and not tended to in a timely manner. I often hear staff speaking harshley to residents while I am there visiting. Stealing is also a real issue. oh, and the social workers take for ever to respond if you leave a message. I am in the process of getting my loved one out of here. I would not have let my loved one stay here if I knew what I new now.
Far as care my dad is doing well, the only problem he feels he is not getting enough food to eat. Every time he calling me it's about him being hungry and the food has no seasoning.
