Facility was clean. Hallways did not smell like urine. Check-in slowed us down a bit, but that's ok. The staff was VERY friendly, especially Mercy. The roommate and his family were great, also. Church was going on when we entered. It was nice to hear music and singing when we entered. Oh yeah, and yelling, "hallelujah" lol. Great experience all the way around. TY 🙏🩵
My Mima (Penn, Geraldine) was in a good mood laughing and joking about her day in therapy. To see her in good spirits in spite of her surroundings and her health set back meant so much to me. But on Friday 01/31/25 Unit manager Chi Chi came in and was very nice and informative to let us know her IV was not working that she was going to the tubing. Miss Penn had been sitting all day with the IV and she stated the nurse for the day kept saying the machine wasn’t working properly. During this time, the nurse then came in with Chi Chi And had an attitude she talked down to Miss Penn stating “ It wasn’t working because you didn’t keep your arm on the pillow” She never talked directly to Miss Penn When she asked her a question, it seemed to bother her. Miss son and daughter-in-law was sitting there the whole time, Her attitude was not fit for the environment or as a nurse in a long-term care or rehab center. We think Chi Chi For all her help and for at least explaining what the problem was, and taking the time to make sure it was running properly.

Not a good place to work! They show favoritism. They put me on a heavy floor knowing I’m 7mths pregnant then stated I needed a note! They have there favorite staff where they switch them if they don’t like certain assignments! If you’re not a fav they won’t have your back and will fire you if you refuse certain assignments regardless of your condition! I would not recommend this place at all for anybody!
