I visited a detainee at the Autumn Lake Healthcare facility in Norwalk. First despite the name "Autumn" it was open in the winter too when I visited. The detainee that I went to see seemed moderately happy although she was confined to a bed in a small room with another prisoner. The staff and guards at the facility seemed very nice although it was clear that they would not tolerate any escapes by the inmates. All in all stay away from this place if you can. Not one of the inmates expressed a desire to be there.

Our mom who is 90 had to have hip surgery (pin procedure) and needed rehabilitation for a short period of time. Sally and her staff were amazing. They treated her with respect and compassion, her therapy sessions were fantastic. In a world where people have been so quick to criticize, we have complements. The facility is older but very well equipped and clearly capable of handling large numbers and doing it well. We in our haste forgot some important items and the staff put them in a safe environment, with everything in tact. This alone makes this a 5 star 🌟 organization. Thanks again.
Autumn Lake Healthcare at Norwalk. I like the environment there. The staff its friendly and helpful. I think the healthcare is in a good big location. There is e plenty of parking space. The staff they are profesional. The facility it's clean
For 11 days I was an in-patient here! The staff for the most part is dedicated, kind, compassionate and very competent! However the food caused upset to my digestive system, and the noise level overnight was absurd!! Very little sleep!! and I rarely received anything pre-ordered via the menu forms!! Couldn't wait to leave!!!
1st of all, The front desk person was more interested in looking at hi sphone then me or my father that was coming in from the hospital. We get to the room & the room was outdated, bathroom smelled, garbage was full, the TV did not work & there was no controller, no pillow & no walker or even a nurse to help him. I try to speak with the therapist group & they were more worried about leaving & going home. I asked for the supervisor & she never showed up, I finally saw her on my way out. All she said I was eating & came out with macdonals fries & chewing. they did not have anyone that could help any of the people who are in need. Terrible Terrible experience. I had to take my dad out on a wheel chair, & he was still wearing the hospital clothes SMH.. Stay away.
