Unfortunately we have to choose a star otherwise we wouldn’t give any, because this place doesn’t deserve a star, This is the worst place to bring your loved one, dirty, careless, abusive to elders. We have had so many issues with my father’s care and needs. He was transferred from the hospital for recovery and since day one this place have done the bare minimum. Today 1/11/25 - we came to visit my father and check on his new room, where he was forced to move although we explained to them that room didn’t meet his needs and was going to be a challenge and traumatic to him. His room was so dirty and has a strong smell to pee, all of his belongings are thrown on the floor, there’s no trash can, the restroom is on the hallway and for an elder with incontinence that doesn’t work on less the restroom is next door, or in the room. The room is so small that two patients don’t fit there and my father doesn’t have room for his walker and wheelchair, It was so dirty that he even had flies in his room and on him. I know this please will tell you that if you have any problems or concerns to call administration, we have done it multiple times and all they care if about the payment, we understand that this place work by payment , but they should provide better care to their patients. Our next step will be to report them to the State, is inhumane how this elders live there and how they’re being treated by this people.

All the staff, from front desk and on, working at Autumn Lake that we interacted with were very friendly amd pleasant, all went out of their way to help us and answer any questions. The people are the most important part of any health organization.
The 5 star reviews are a scam! I worked here for 2 months and they never had enough supplies for the patients nor staff. The place was filthy, there were never enough workers so most patients wouldn’t get touched for days because of the operation they have at this job. There wouldn’t be medicine aides to give out medication nor nurses that care to help a patient. Run while you can, I wouldn’t dare send my family member here nor work here again.
The nurse on the early or morning has kept me updated about my brother's activities. By calling me and telling me when I visit. My issue is after she leaves. Several times my brother haven't been getting any food. The speech therapist was there that day and assured me she will relate my concerns.
If I could give less than one star, I would. I called to get information on a patient (parent) I was transferred to the front desk and when she answered the phone, she spoke as if she had an attitude and I couldn't tell if I was on the phone with somebody from the street or a professional establishment with her tone and the way she talked when she picked the phone up. I asked her name and she refused to give it to me and hung up
