I am very pleased with the care my cousin has received at Autumn Lake at Cherry Lane. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for residents. I’m sorry I don’t know how this place has so many positive reviews when these people commit elderly abuse. If anyone can help it, don’t send your elderly family members here. My grandfather had gotten a couple infections from being here and he was told he’d get an IV to help them at 10:30 that night. 2:30 in the morning he’s still waiting and waiting. Thank GOD he was taken to a real hospital that night and never going back to this place again. He did get some strength to walk again which is why he was sent there in the first place. The physical therapists were doing a decent job. But to get a nurse to DO THEIR JOB and HELP him get to the bathroom or let him get up to start building his strength up again, they would just want him in his bed all day. Not to mention, the receptionists and nurses were not professional at all. They’re always on their phones and give YOU attitude when you call them out on it. They’d give attitude towards anyone that asked them a question or would make a suggestion or a little comment. Places like these will do whatever it takes to keep making money from these insurance companies. When they see an elderly patient all they see are money bags. Anyone that has had good experiences I’m sure their insurance wasn’t paying for a lot so yeah, the nurses will work with you and get you out of these in a time frame. Anyone who has really good insurance that pays for weeks or months of treatment to healthcare providers are going to have these experience my grandfathers having because, again, they’re getting all this money. Sad reality.
My family had a terrible experience with Autumn Lake at Cherry Lane while my grandfather was in their care during his final days. On multiple occasions, I witnessed a male nurse treating him roughly, which was deeply upsetting. When I tried to address this behavior, the staff would pretend not to understand English, avoiding accountability. Additionally, they allowed my grandfather to sit in a soiled diaper, ignoring basic hygiene and comfort. This level of neglect and lack of compassion is completely unacceptable. The facility itself was unpleasant, with a noticeable odor, reflecting the lack of care and attention to cleanliness. I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking compassionate care for their loved ones.
Excellent facility. Friendly staff. The front desk people are very friendly and helpful. It smells clean. And other than being a little outdated my friend who lives there is well taken care of.
The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. They seem to take good care of their patients.
