We went on a tour of the facility for potential placement of our loved one. Right from the start, we could tell it was a warm and welcoming environment! The facility was well-maintained and the staff was very engaged with the current residents. We felt very confident that our love one would receive excellent supportive care. We talked with a few residents who assured us this was a great place and they loved being a part of the Community! The level of staffing, activities, meals, and cleanliness was top notch! We made our decision immediately to allow our love one to become a part of the Community!

Nice place. Very nice staff. Residents seemed happy & well cared for! I don't like the fact that no one tells you the code to leave & they assume that you know how to use the box to exit. Also the elevator buttons have a star beside the number 1 which is NOT the floor to exit on. I see these two issues as problems for safety reasons.
Horrible experience! From the moment my family member was admitted I knew we had made a mistake regardless of their 4 star rating. Building is rundown, smell of urine and feces in hallway most days. Furniture in disrepair, heating and air unit made horrible noises on daily basis. Despite a neon pink sign in 2 locations within his room stating family would do laundry all his clothes were taken to their laundry facility and consequently lost. Over $200 worth of pants, shirts, socks and a phone charger!! Personal food items and a gift basket disappeared. And when you ask any staff member the standard response was I don’t know anything I just got here. Management never returned phone calls or made any effort to find or reimburse ANYTHING!!! Basic hygiene needs were never met, never got his teeth brushed hair combed or faced washed on a daily basis. He lost almost 20lbs despite them claiming he weighed the same the entire month he was there. He was barely eating and they made little attempt to help him eat. He was totally at their mercy and they didn’t care. On one occasion his dinner was never served to him, when we notified them, they were adamant it had , until they double checked and realized no it had been forgotten. If we were not there he would not have eaten at all!!! Medication was incorrect after arrival, we had to bring that their attention. We asked for a podiatry consult, never happened. He was to be put in a chair daily, if lucky it happened once a week. Was told not enough staff to lift him. Here’s an idea hire enough staff or stop taking new patients your greed is reprehensible. He was sent to ER after a suspected UTI, it was a raging UTI that clearly was missed or not treated properly amongst other complications including contracting MRSA. Clearly he will not return there.
Myself and one other lady volunteer our time to teach the residents the art of crochet. We work closely with Chanel Rheubottom and her team with scheduling and ensuring the residents have an enjoyable experience.
This is the absolute worst facility ever. I would not send my goldfish here and they need very little to no care. The nursing staff is rude and useless. My loved one sat in feces for 1 hour and 15 minutes. It took the nurse 30 minutes to answer the call light. She said someone would be in when they were done with another patient. 45 minutes later someone came in to change her. The nurse acted like it was beneath her to change her patient. They didn’t give pain meds when asked for. The nurses were always sitting at the nurses station socializing. So there was no reason a patient couldn’t get assistance when needed.
