We had nothing but wonderful experiences with Peninsula Grange. My mother was there for three years with a degenerative condition. The facilities are excellent like a conference hotel feel, excellent open areas and gardens, and enthusiastic daily activities. Best of all is the staff who were so positive and caring throughout.

Very poor management and care. Always defensive Mum had Alzheimers and we were told they were to best to care for her. But once she was there they drugged her up and staff changed constantly and they acted like they had never looked after an Alzheimers patient before. Mum was ignored to the point she had an undiagnosed UTI with 2 litres of urine in her bladder and had stopped responding. We were told she was doing ok and when I saw her after 10 day lock down we called an ambulance immediately. After that she was wheel chair bound and kidney had stopped working. We got an apology and then two months later in happened again. We paid over $20k to hire a nurse to sit with mum as we were told they didn’t have the staff to manage
Very clean and new aged care facility. Doesn’t smell and isn’t anywhere near as dirty as other homes I have visited. Nice outdoor gardens, good for a walk. Downside - not enough parking for visitors since the rest of the faculty has been built.
Food extremely disappointing. Always understaffed. Many issues raised with management, by staff are just ignored, poor behaviour management of wondering residents. Think twice before working at this facility or placing your loved one here .
In-lwas now in there and the service and accommodation is 5star.
