Jabiru Drive, Kakadu NT 0886, Australia
We stayed here for three nights. After reading some of the reviews was not sure what to expect, having now stayed here, I’m happy to say we had a good experience. It’s a first in first served deal (no booking for van sites) however it’s huge, and well designed with all roads in a circle around the pool and bar/bistro area. The site we chose was in the first row near the pool and was a great size with plenty of room. The he pool are was amazing with a really large pool. The bar area was great around the pool. We only went over for a drink at happy hour, but for happy hour, the drinks were very expensive.

Stayed here in our caravan for 3 nights at the end of June. I was a bit worried about the amenities as some reviews weren't great saying they were filthy. I was pleasantly surprised although old and tired they were clean. The pool area is a little run down needing a bit of a revamp and the area around the bistro and bar could do with a good pressure clean. However Al usable in a pleasant setting. Our problem was choosing a spot, we couldn't make our mind up😄🤣😂 much easier when they issue you with a site. Plenty of space to spread out. The place is a little pricey but compared to Cooinda down the road it's a bargain. Would recommend. Haven't used the bistro but will have tea there tomorrow.
Avoid Aurora Kakadu Lodge & Caravan Park – Terrible Experience We were deeply disappointed with our stay. The place is poorly maintained and nothing like what’s advertised. • The communal kitchen was closed and absolutely filthy – unusable, with no prior warning given. • The washing machines were also out of order, again without any notice. • The bathrooms and showers were disgusting: dirty, neglected, and clearly not cleaned regularly. Luckily, we took photos to back this up. This park gives a false impression of its facilities and is not worth your money. There are much better options in the area for the same price. Strongly not recommended.
Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Friendly and happy helpful staff. Great food and cold beers at an affordable price at the restaurant.
The Lodge was poor value. The room was poor, and the kitchen was terrible. The lodge room was super basic and had a musty smell to it, and the shared kitchen was absolutely bottom rung. No plates, less than a set of cutlery to go round, not even a can opener. And BADLY in need of a deep clean. On the up side, the grounds are beautifully looked after, and the pool, bar, and food are rustic but great.
