Florentiner Str. 20, 70619 Stuttgart, Germany
A wonderful place to grow old. Self-determined living, with all the amenities you need. Theoretically, no senior needs to leave the premises, everything you need for daily life is there. Specialists excepted, apart from a dentist, which is also available here. General practitioners with further training in palliative care and naturopathy. Your physical well-being is well taken care of with a restaurant and supermarket. All types of therapies are in-house. Bank and post office, hairdresser, cosmetics, pedicure and what else I've forgotten, it's all there. Leisure activities for almost every day of the week. I am in love with the wonderful, spacious park, in the middle of the city and yet in the middle of nature. And the guest rooms are a hit! 5 stars, at least! And really friendly staff everywhere. Thanks for that!

Assisted living is great. But beware of becoming a need for care: food is often only given 1.5 hours after it has been put in the room. It's still lukewarm at most. Staff is nice, but overworked. There are far too few nursing staff for the price.
Staff more than overloaded. The professionals shout at each other. From what I've noticed, they're all nice to the residents. However, you are late for dinner, taken to appointments, and sometimes not at all. Literally chaos! The kitchen, some people are completely out of it, you often have to go twice and extra because something was forgotten or something else. I really feel sorry for the people who work there. Some residents become lonely and are then labeled as “oh yeah, it’s not entirely clean”. Unfortunately, you can't take the time because you have so much to do. Some workers work so much at a time that they get sick. Of course there are good days too, but you can count them on your hand. FSJlers - the only good thing is the seminars. Otherwise you will be yelled at or treated like dirt. You often have to discuss things when something doesn't work out. You are assigned tasks that you are not even prepared for. Not everyone is like that, of course, but unfortunately many employees are very rude about it.
Dating from the 70s. Some apartments are very small, and the bathrooms are completely unacceptable. If you don't have a suitable apartment, staying there is not recommended.
Very large cultural offering. Nice contact with the administration.
