What a fantastic residence. Unfortunately, my father only had the pleasure of staying there for a short time, but it was characterized by care, consideration, incredibly good service, a fantastic restaurant, and plenty of activities. I don't understand the negative reviews at all. Everyone needs to reflect on themselves and make their own contribution. I'm still too young to be pampered here, but I would move in immediately, if only for the pool.

I have to add something positive to my first review from some time ago: my aunt was already so happy with the Augustinum. I visited them several times from the Black Forest and was able to convince myself of this humane, attentive institution, even as a guest. Yesterday evening I spontaneously called. announced. My aunt wanted to reach me with the help of a nurse; she has become increasingly dependent on help over the last year due to (among other things) a surgical fracture. She once again emphasized how grateful she is for the care and attention she experiences. Others may say: Yes, the Augustinum is expensive too. That's true, but you can't "buy" ATTENTION and I would also like to expressly thank this dormitory and nursing home for that! In times of "need" they are also trying very hard to help those who live there, I'm so happy to know that right now... (There are completely different homes...)
I've been living in the Augustinum with my dog for 6 months now and I'm even happier than I was on the first day. Apartment, service, food, culture: everything is perfect for me. Vacation every day and a visit to a restaurant every day; That's what I always wanted... That was once. Now in 2024 I'm looking back on 2 years of my complaints due to, among other things, bad food and it's currently getting worse. You can move in here if you can no longer taste or smell and are hard of hearing. I'll move out again.
The nurses are very friendly. I can also praise the other employees in the administration. What's not nice is that I couldn't reach my mother by phone a few days before her death and I wasn't contacted after my mother's death. I found out about this when I called the front desk after days of trying in vain to reach my mother.
My partner (72) and I (76) have been living at Augustinum for almost six years now, and we haven't regretted our decision for a second. One roommate once put it this way: "The AUGUSTINUM isn't cheap, but it's worth the price."
