Spouse spent 20 days (Jan. 2025) at August. Overall was very satisfied. Staff members (nurses, therapy, social workers) all went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Kimberly and her team were central to setting up and facilitating our get well plan. Our room was comfortable and decently appointed. Institutional cuisine is what it is. Not looking to return but if the situation demanded, I’d sign up again. Thanks for making our stay a very good experience.

Absolutely an amazing place. I walked in it smelt amazing some of the rooms look like they were a Hilton. The staff was absolutely amazing. Absolutely nothing compares to this facility in Wilmington. My mother spent a brief period there for rehabilitation and they were absolutely incredible. Simply cannot say enough good about this facility, please consider for your loved one
Very clean and well maintained facility. Everyone we saw was clean, dressed and not just left alone in the hallways. Staff was responsive and helpful. The only negative comment I can make is that the room buzzer needs to be a flashing light at the nurses station after ringing for 1 minute. With reduced staff on weekends I can imagine residents could grow annoyed at that ringing bell. Other than that this is an incredibly nice facility. My father in law is enjoying his therapy and it’s really helping him regain his mobility so thank you to everyone!
The facility was very clean, smelled good, every staff member l had the pleasure of meeting was very kind and caring, always had a smile on their face and made me feel so warm inside about the way they were with they were with my Sister. I'm so grateful 🙏 keep the great work up because we do appreciate everything the staff is doing. God bless all of you for the great job 🙏 🙌
My father (age 97) was here for rehab after surgery (3 weeks in the hospital). I selected August from a list of 12 (I visited 6) given to me by the hospital (overwhelming for sure). August was my first visit, and set the bar: which no one exceeded or came close. From my initial tour with Kevin, I knew this was the place to go and they did not disappoint. The service, room, food, and staff attitude and attention, all exceeded expectations (and my dad and I are quite demanding). The administrator (Deborah), nursing staff, aides, and PT all were friendly, professional, and understanding of my dad and his needs (as well as mine and my 99 year-old mom). Even more important for getting my dad back home (he and my mom live independently), the PT experience was top rate. They pushed him (knowing he wanted to get back home and speed-walking -- not your typical 97 year old). Bottom line: if you are in the Wilmington area and are looking for short-term rehab, go to August.
