We were very disappointed with this place and the lack of care my mom received. She hadn't been there for 24 hours when we showed up the next morning at 10:30 to visit. We were told by the PT person that it wasn't a good time to come. She wasn't nice about it and gave us no explanation. We didn't know what the schedule for her was yet. My parents were together for 63 years and when my dad wanted to go see her, we brought him. They left her oxygen and call light laying on the floor next to the chair out of her reach. Then they pulled her picc line before her culture results which were still positive. So, she had to be transferred back to the ER. When I talked to them regarding what happened, they were rude and seemed unconcerned. We advocated for my mom because she couldn't and no one else would. We were offered to keep the room for a daily fee which we declined. I felt like they punished my mom because they didn't want to deal with us. We feel that they had an instrumental part in her death and I wouldn't ever bring a loved one here again. Their concern was more about money than the patient. Horrible!!

Supposedly someone has "covid". Masks are required in building. If that is the case, why are workers wearing them on their necks? And why is the box empty where you are to get one? Also, if everyone has had their life saving shot, why is there concern?? I'll wait....
I have a friend of mine taking care of their better half at the Chaska location. The living situations are disgusting for assisted living or for ANYONE for that matter. This person has Alzheimers, and have found this person outside (in the winter below zero) 2 x’s. They don’t monitor the meds being taken. I found some pills under this person’s bed the other day. The adult diapers are piled up and NOT taken out. There were even some with BM in them just thrown on the floor, and one was under a bath mat. It just seems they don’t lift a finger or try and keep the Apt clean. So maybe when they get moved to the Nursing Home~Things will change! We can only PRAY.. I feel so bad for my friend that has been helping out they are getting exhausted trying to help the loved one, that the nurses and cleaners there SHOULD BE DOING THEIR JOBS. So please PLEASE ask a ton of questions go through the building thoroughly. I would hate to see anybody else’s loved ones suffer consequences after they work their life to be treated like this. Update: this person is now in the nursing home, and things have only gotten worse. It is just sickening to me and I know nurses are needed everywhere, but please treat these people like humans. Quit ignoring your jobs or get out of that job atmosphere. UPDATE 2/12/25 Unfortunately we lost this man a couple years ago. But the nursing home and Hospice wasn’t any better. Maybe worse. My friend of the man that No was there, took pictures of him getting his blood drawn while he was on the toilet, taking a poop. Now if thats not unprofessional, I don’t know what is. DISGUSTING 🤮. Poor training? Or just laziness and impatience on the staffs fault? It just hurts my heart knowing that people work their butts off all their lives and get treated like this at the end of their lives. Shame on them.
I was at Auburn in Chaska for rehab and I couldn't have been any happier with the care I got. Everyone was so kind and carinig. Thank you so much everyone ❤️
