I used to volunteer at Atria Carrollton and it was such a rewarding experience. The staff made me feel welcome and appreciated. They were kind, supported, and dedicated to their work. The residents were absolutely wonderful to be around. They were friendly and had many great stories to share. The place itself was well-maintained, clean, and had a home-like atmosphere.

I have a sister who has lived at Atria since June 2023 and has been in the Life Guidance (LG) (Memory Care) area since August 2024. She loves living there and the entire team at Atria makes her feel so special. They work tirelessly to make sure she is involved in activities and not just staying in her apartment. This Team in LG is beyond amazing. The Team consists of: Marcella Cassidy Elisha Jasmine Jackie Rupa Cindy Grace Aliyah Fatima Eileen Vanessa They love my sister and it shows on each of them. My sister seeks constant love from all of them and they are always willing to give her a hug and that just makes her day. Their job is not easy, I can assure you and it takes a special person to do the job and they always seem to have a smile on their face. THANK YOU TO THIS ENTIRE TEAM! The leader in the LG area is Haley and I am beyond impressed with her. She is so accommodating and willing to work with me to help ensure that my sister has exactly what she needs. They are willing to constantly tweak the care they deliver based on my requests and I always feel like they have the attitude of doing whatever it takes. Haley impresses me each and every day. I can’t say enough about this amazing Team. It takes a village and I am so fortunate and grateful that these individuals are in our village. When things don’t go as planned, and that may happen, as mistakes do occur, it will not be intentional and it will be corrected and always with a serving heart. They truly want to provide the best care to my loved one and they want me to be involved. As I said, it takes a village. I could not be happier with this Team in the LG area. I love Atria Life Guidance!
The Life Guidance community at Atria Carrollton has been a great fit for our family. Moving my mom from home was not an easy decision, but we’ve found great peace knowing she’s safe and well cared for in her home away from home. The staff treat her with dignity, kindness and compassion. They provide a great variety of activities to keep her active and engaged, and they have worked with us closely to address some of her medical and dietary needs. We are so thankful for the staff and the love they show my mom and our family.
I have looked around at MANY places in this area trying to find the right place for my 90 year-old mother, and this place is wonderful! The staff are all very kind and seemed to genuinely care -- I could tell that the residents are well cared-for, and the sense of community was evident from start to finish. The hardest thing seems to be not having a revolving door of staff, so I'm really impressed to find out that many of their staff have been there more than 10 years -- that says a lot! Definitely check out Atria Carrollton if you need a truly high-quality place for your mom or dad -- you'll see for yourself that it's truly special!
Atria Carrollton has been great for my mom who moved into the Life Guidance unit (memory care). She was reluctant to move in but has thrived. The care from the staff, the structure and routine they provide and the special events and activities they plan all served to make her feel welcome and to improve her memory some. All the staff have been great, and Haley in particular has been a God-send. Definitely recommend.
