The staff are friendly and helpful. They keep families informed of their loved ones’ progress while in Atlas. The staff share therapy strategies with patients, their relatives, and they interact and encourage patients in their therapy. The social workers encourage family input and keep families informed of patient progress. The food is good; the facility is clean and well-appointed.

Both my grandmother and stepfather are there I have no real complaints they do their job. But thats it. it's not a very welcoming environment anyone can kind of come and go most the time they don't even ensure whether I check in or not and no they don't just recognize me . That's a little worrisome . It's clean as it can be for a nursing home . And the staff is friendly when I do speak to them, most of the time I'm not acknowledged and I guess for the residents that are there more long term like my grandmother I'd like to see a little bit more care about who is coming and going where they're going when they're there cause again I go in and have free run of the place with no visitors pass to identify me as such . I know they're busy and they do do their jobs but there is nothing more to it for them . And that's not really a complaint, either I still give a solid 4 star review . But there's just other places where I felt like my grandmother was better cared for, acknowledged, and secure. We just couldn't afford those places for her unfortunately. So it's a good place. I also don't know if they have many long term residents or if my grandmother is like more of an exception cause my stepdad is not long term care and I wouldn't expect them to do for him what I'd like done for my grandmom and a lot of patients coming and going it's a lot to try and figure out whose with who and whose staying or not . So please don't take my statement as a negative just a suggestion for the longer term residents
Thank you very much. . my mom feels like she has a lot on her plate and gets overwhelmed and it means a lot that this Acute takes the weight off her back about long term care for physical therapy. I'm thankful they are understanding and thoughtful about my mom's care . I get worried , I'm sure she does too. But the amount of effort y'all go through for her no matter what means a lot . It's our first time going threw this and we are thankful enough to help us all stay on the right track !! Thank you for caring for my mom right now . The Tucker's !!
This rehabilitation facility presents a striking contrast between its polished exterior and the disturbing experiences reported by patients and their families. While the facility boasts an upscale appearance, this facade seems to mask serious underlying issues. My aunt, a 70-year-old woman, recently spent time at this facility and described her experience as terrifying. Her account, corroborated by other observations, paints a picture of neglect, disrespect, and potentially harmful practices. Upon entering the facility, I witnessed an elderly woman in a wheelchair, clearly disoriented, wandering the halls. When I brought this to the attention of the nursing staff, it underscored a concerning lack of attention to patient needs and safety. My aunt's concerns about her medication were met with defensiveness and accusations of senility when she questioned discrepancies in the appearance of her pills. This dismissive attitude towards legitimate patient inquiries is unacceptable and raises serious questions about transparency and patient autonomy. Furthermore, she was forced to accept assistance with bathing from a male staff member despite the presence of female staff, a clear violation of patient comfort and potentially, their dignity. The most alarming account involves her being left to sit in her own feces, a gross display of neglect and a failure to provide basic care. The rehabilitation itself was inadequate. My aunt received a mere 30 minutes of therapy per day, a shockingly low amount for a facility dedicated to rehabilitation. Even more disturbingly, the night before her discharge, she was subjected to an intense and seemingly excessive therapy session, raising concerns about the motivations behind this sudden surge in activity. She also reported that her physical therapist ignored her concerns about uncleaned equipment. The problems extended beyond the facility itself. Upon attempting to fill her discharge prescriptions, we discovered that they were written with the incorrect name. This required a frustrating and time-consuming return trip to the facility to rectify the error. Adding insult to injury, due to the absence of doctors over the weekend, she was told she would have to wait until Monday to receive her necessary pain medication, a delay that is both inexplicable and unacceptable. Throughout my time in the facility, I observed staff members seemingly preoccupied with their phones, further reinforcing the impression of neglect and lack of attentiveness. Based on my aunt's distressing experience and my own observations, I strongly suspect that the polished appearance of this facility is a deliberate attempt to conceal a deeply troubled and potentially dangerous environment. Any individual with awareness and concern for proper care should be extremely wary of this facility.
I can’t say enough about the quality of care my uncle has received at this facility so far. The facility is clean, welcoming and beautifully maintained. The staff is friendly and extremely caring and qualified. His progress has been steady and we are very encouraged about his prognosis. I would highly recommend this facility.
