Absolutely horrible conditions. Nursing staff is usually pretty nice, at least during the day. Food is atrocious. Served multiple times, far more than allowed by the state. People get sick off the food. Roaches can be seen in different areas of the building. Residents are not sorted according to their needs like mot places. If I could, I would take control and fix this place fast. Most issues can be fixed with new and ENFORCED rules and procedures. Main one being NO CELL PHONES DURING BUSINESS HOURS. Staff cant do anything without a phone in their face. Calling friends and family just to chat like they are on vacation. I can make 2 phone calls and fix the whole place.

This facility was purchased about a year and a half ago. They have invested in improvements which are ongoing. They have plans to expand their care services - i.e. in house dialysis. They offer PT. OT and ST as needed-up to 5 days a week in addition to transportation to dialysis and doc appointments. They cant fix prior issues overnight. All issues and concerns have been addressed - which have been minimal. Staff has been extraordinary. All flooring has been replaced with lamenent . HVAC being completely replaced. Give it your consideration.
This home has come such a long way. I grew up in this area and it’s just a pleasure to see all of the progress that has been made with this facility. The inside decor and the staff and management team are great. Knowing that every facility or building cannot be perfect it’s nice to know that there are still people that try and genuinely care and want to do a good job And serve the seniors in our city. My mother wasn’t treated well. I wonder how can certain facilities get away with bad treatment, smoking marijuana on the lot, people texting on their phones & not paying attention., young men going around with pants sagging!!! What a horrible experience! They had no problem billing her insurance tho!
I have a friend at this facility and she has been neglected. No one came in to prepare her for dialysis yesterday (Friday) and she missed it; She’s to have dialysis Monday, Wednesday and Friday. No one came in Friday to give her blood pressure or heart meds either. The nurses don’t care & they treat their patients horrible. I would not recommend this facility!
