As a current employee at astral I have never once witnessed staff yelling at employees or residents. I love my job and the people I am around here. My RSD Amy Wood has always been completely understanding of my life outside of work when it comes to requesting off. The staff here are a welcoming bunch of people who always look forward to working with me. Astral is an amazing place to work and live.
Astral At Franklin is a wonderful place to work in the assisted living healthcare setting. The residents here are a pleasure to care for and are treated with dignity and respect. The staff are also treated equally and fairly by the management team. The nursing team work together and all have a passion for caring for elders. Astral at Franklin is a beautiful place to live and work! After almost 30 years working as a nurse in LTC I am glad to have found a place that really feels like home with residents and staff I have a fond affection for.

We looked at over a dozen places on the Indy metro southside for my mom and we picked Astral. Their facility and staff are top notch. Their onsite physical and occupation therapy were pluses. They do employ RNs, not just just CNAs like some other communities. My mom really enjoyed living there, she got a ton of social interactions she was not getting at the house. My only regret is we didn't move her to Astral sooner.
