My mom lived at Theresa's during the last year of life. She was 89 years old with moderate dementia. I considered it a blessing to have a place like Assisted Living by Theresa. It provided a warm, clean and beautiful home environment with healthy homemade meals and compassionate care providers. Theresa is amazing, dedicated and caring to the residents. She is directly involved in patient care and gets to know each resident personally. She was also readily available to talk with me.

My father has been here for about six months. This is the first place that he is finally enjoying his meals. He is gaining weight and taking his medications. They have home-cooked meals and they are warm when they are served (If they are meant to be warm). Theresa and her staff do a great job keeping an eye on all of their residents. At the other places my father was at, if he didn’t want to get out of his bed, they would just let him lay there. If he didn’t want to eat, he didn’t get anything to eat. That does not happen here. He is out of his room every day interacting In the community room. He is also treated with respect and dignity. The house is always clean and never smells. My father is always well groomed. I am grateful for Theresa and her staff..
My family and I could not be any happier that our parents are in such a loving, caring, wonderful home , being cared for by Theresa and her attentive and caring staff. ❤️ With excellent care 24/7 care, delicious and healthy meals, a warm and happy home, and clean and cheery rooms, my parents are thriving and happy. 😊 We’re so grateful to Theresa!
Theresa's Home is an actual house, not a corporate facility. The home is extremely clean and cheerful. Residents will fell like they are in their own home. The food is homemade, not processed junk. Fresh fruit for snacks and meals. The caregiver to resident ratio is 4-5 to 1. The care is excellent . There isn't the turnover like the big corporate places so the residents get comfortable with the caregivers. My husband has been there for 6 years and after being in other places I would not consider moving him. I highly recommend.
My Mother has been a resident at Theresa’s for over 3 years. My Sister did an exhaustive search for an appropriate placement when my Mother could no longer take care of herself. My Sister and I both are healthcare providers with over 30 years combined experience working in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Home Health: we know what good care is. (Physical and Occupational Therapy) After all these years, we know the Game. Corporate places sell the bells and whistles but the caregivers are usually transient, different people all the time, with usually low pay with LOTS of patients to take care of: costs were expensive too. Theresa’s is hands down the BEST care we have encountered, with dedicated long term mature caregivers. I was shocked by the detail, responsiveness and individualized care. The place is spotless, with smart modifications for safety. We placed our Mother here 3 years ago. We trust them.
