This facility, like any other, encounters challenges such as funding limitations and staffing shortages. However, these challenges do not hinder their commitment to excellence. Caregivers demonstrate a genuine dedication to their work, providing skillful and compassionate care. The Director of Nursing (D.O.N.) and admissions staff have been instrumental in advocating for residents, particularly when navigating insurance complexities for essential therapies. Social workers have diligently worked to develop personalized future care plans, addressing residents' mental, physical, and housing needs. While acknowledging the presence of difficult residents and staffing issues, the current D.O.N. demonstrates responsiveness and efficiency in addressing concerns. The facility, therefore, exhibits a strong commitment to providing quality care and support to its residents.

I've been in this place for 9mths. I made a few friends. I got cool with some of the staff. So everything about that place wasn't bad. I recently left the facility on my own terms. But things were not always great there. As I read the reviews, most of what I read was accurate. I've seen so many things happen in that place it's not even funny. From residents hopping fences, to residents being arrested for fighting visitors. And the rules are designed to make residents feel imprisoned. Older residents being treated like little children. I've seen the place go through four D.O.N's. One in which decided to quit because the administration would not allow her to do her job the way she should. I've watched nurses and CNA's quit working there because they felt it wasn't a good place to work. Call lights never got answered on time. I was only there for rehabilitation, in which I was not getting due to my insurance. And the food there really sucks. I mean, the food sucks so bad, none of the staff would eat it. I can understand why most people would not recommend this place to put their loved ones. And personally, I wouldn't either. The state really needs to consider exploring this place more further. Because a lot needs to be changed.
I can’t say I have experience staying here or having a loved one stay here but from what I can gather, I would stay far away. I was delivering food to someone here. I was supposed to leave it at the front desk but the lady (who was beyond rude with me by screaming and ignoring me as much as possible) told me I can’t do that. I had to walk the food through this nasty place to deliver it by hand myself. No one seemed to speak a word of English and the floors, walls, and ceiling were disgusting. In the 5 minutes I was in here, I saw at least 3 roaches on the floor and apparent mold growing on the ceiling in multiple spots. The whole place smelled off, almost like a rancid smell. When I was finally leaving, the door wouldn’t open. The same rude lady from before came over and tried opening it and it wouldn’t work for her either. She eventually got help to pull the doors open manually at which point an alarm started going off and she walked away cursing under her breath at me. Needless to say, this place is a nightmare! The state should be looking into places like this to shut them down! The fact that this place is still opening shows a failure on multiple levels on part of the state as well as the company that owns “Aspire”.
My stay here was ok. My physical therapist Jevaun really helped me a lot! He was very persistent and helpful. Really knew the right excerises I needed to feel better. My nurse Shera was AMAZING very knowledgeable and smart and always knew what medicine you could and couldn’t take depending on your blood pressure. She was very helpful always cheerful even when she wasn’t being treated right or disrespected she kept her professional duties and never got out of character. This place was definitely helpful in my road to recovery.
Place is a hell hole. Social Worker rude and unprofessional, don’t know how to talk to people. Rats and roaches in building , marijuana smell when you walking to go in place by residents outside smoking and saw one patient drinking alcohol. No one barely speaks English and they just ignore patient lights . Went in and out all week without being asked to sign in and most times no one at front watching door. Got my love one out and into a better place . That place needs to be shut down ASAP !!! All they do is change the name once the reviews are posted as bad . The food is ridiculous and at times non edible. I called the state and they rushed my love one out as if she had the plague but that’s ok cause I was looking for another place anyway .
