As Kaiser/medicare recipient one does not have to accept hospitals case manager perferred lists. One has a federal right to choose facility of ones geographical area or choice of patient. If choice is out of geographic area, hospital is permitted to transfer and request form the chosen county in which patients choice of facility resides. Upon a midnight kaiser/medicare admission, and 1st morning, we were not welcomed with informative discussion as one would understand as new patients. Nor did we recieve an informative welcome folder about faculty. The interior colors are dreary and unwelcoming. Patient was quickly placed in a room with conjoined bathroom with a male patient. Along with no accessible call light. She was later transferred to a single room for isolation. The faculty signed contract that they can attend to her needs. However, upon admission, the staff was not capable to attain the contract as the staff who attends bed truning and normal needs were not met due to the lack of knowledge how to turn an obeses patient safely and every two hours in order for patient not to obtain bed sores. Thereafter, patient was dropped off food and no assistance was applied to encourage patient to eat and drink fluids. Patient was only there for 3 days and was dehydrated. Upon the 2nd day, a nurse had issued a medicine not prescribed to paitent. Which was a parkisons pill prescribed to another patient mixed in with this patients daily meds. Had I not overseen prescription, things would have been bad. They already are. Upon the patients assigned Dr. when told about pain in patient's upper riggt abdomen relating to gallbladder, didnt seem moved until I firmly pressed on location of patient's pain and patient jolted out of pain, did the Dr. state they would transfer to ER. There were some attentive staffers. This faculty is lacking knowledgeable staff and quanity of staff to justify the needs of patients. Patient was left for hours of neglegence for turning and chexking-in. The parking structure is extremely limited. However, across the street has parking spots. The faculty is clean. The receptionist at entrance is amazing. i would not let patient return. I will not pass a good word.

This place was amazing! My grandma was here for three weeks and my family and I loved the way she was treated. They have so many activities for them and they made all of us feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this facility if you ever have to use one. They helped my grandma recover and she is now home. Thank you to all the staff!!
