My mom has been living at Ashley Court since February. It's great that there are many activities for her to enjoy. I like that everyone spends time outdoors, doing art and crafts, games, worship, and music. Mom keeps busy and it tires her out so she sleeps better. The staff is helpful and attentive. She gets regular showers and reminders to come to meals, which is a big help. Thank you for watching out for my mother who has dementia!

If you’re looking for a place for your loved one, look no further. Since 2017, we have been caregivers for two loved ones with dementia and Ashley Court of Brighton went above and beyond to help us both times. From the time you walk through the door, they create a feeling of being at home. They have many creative activities that keep them stimulated and active. No holiday or birthday goes by without a celebration. My brother always smiles when telling us about dancing with the activities team for Cinco de Mayo. Recently, we had to move my brother out of state to be near his son, and he wanted to make sure the new place had “Pin Ball” also known as bowling as he really enjoyed it. The staff are warm and loving and take care of all their needs. It’s such a relief knowing your loved one is safe, well cared for, and kept active.
I have been volunteering for years at the Alzheimer's walk. I enjoy watching the residents share time with their families and friends. It’s a wonderful event to raise money and to share a special day together. The staff show the residents love and care and treat them with dignity and respect. The Activities Department keeps the residents moving and active, all while being encouraging, energetic and fun. They treat them as family and it shows!
My wife Judy was a resident from June of 2022 until she passed away on October eighth of 2024. Most of her time was spent in building three where she did many activities including singing and dancing and playing games. She was always smiling and had many friends who loved her. I was with her almost daily and was fortunate that she still knew me until the day she died. The care she received from Ashley Court was exceptional including the hospice care she received for the last eight months of her life. Lori Napier and her staff took care of her every need.
Dear Ashley Court staff As a chapter in our life closes, I can’t find the words to express the thanks we have for all of you. Our paths crossed just about 5 years ago. You took such good care of Tom. You supported our family in the most difficult times. We were great full that you made room for Sylvia so she could be with Tom in his final days. When Sylvia needed more help than we could provide, we knew she would be cared for and loved by everyone at Ashley Court. Tom started his chapter with you in Building 3, Sylvia started in building 4. As we carried Toms ashes out of Sylvia’s room, one day prior to the anniversary of his death, we realized that both their chapters were ending in Building 1. Thank you for the love and support you have provided our family over the last 5 years.
